Neurobiology and Systems Neuroscience journal club

The Neurobiology and Systems Neuroscience journal club meets on Mondays from 12:00–1:00 p.m. in 317 LISB. Each week, students, postdocs, and faculty meet to discuss a recent paper on systems neuroscience or neurobiology more broadly. Students should register for either Bi 607 or Psy 607 (depending on the instructor for that term) and are expected to select a paper and lead a discussion once per year.
For Fall 2023, graduate students should sign up for CRN 14589, which is Psy 607 Sem Syst Jour Club.
Tips for effective presentations:
- You don't need to discuss every panel in every figure.
- Ensure all fonts in your slides can be seen at the back of the room.
- Consider showing single panels, not whole figures.
No upcoming meetings. Meetings will resume next quarter.
