ION Core Facilities and Research Resources
Image Lewis Center for Neuroimaging
The Lewis Center is a core research facility supporting a wide range of interdisciplinary, multifaceted research in neuroscience and biological imaging.
Image Histology and Genetic Modifications Core
The Histology and Genetic Modifications Core Facility provides a technology resource to the local and regional research community to support the generation and maintenance of genetically modified mouse lines.
Image Zebrafish Facility
The Zebrafish Facility houses 80,000 zebrafish (Danio rerio) and supports research in 6 biology laboratories.
Image ACS
Animal Care Services (ACS) is responsible for administering all activities related to the care and use of animals.
Image Histology Facility
The Imaging Core is part of the Genomics and Cell Characterization Core Facility (GC3F), and includes several confocal and superresolution microscopes and image analysis workstations.
Image Genomics Core
The Genomics and Cell Characterization Core Facility (GC3F) supports scientific research at the University of Oregon by making a broad array of high end instrumentation accessible to UO researchers.

Image Zebrafish Model Organism Database
ZFIN serves as the zebrafish model organism database.

Image Technical Science Administration
The TSA is able to provide prototyping expertise, technical consultation, electrical and mechanical engineering, CAD design, CNC/CAM programing, instrument repair, and precision fabrication services.

Image ZIRC
The ZIRC provides a central repository for wild-type and mutant strains of zebrafish (Danio rerio) and for materials and information about zebrafish research.
